How Does the Application Work?Trained technicians carefully wipe down all high-touch surfaces in a given location, then apply a Cold fogging application using speciated equipment, and let it dry undisturbed for 10 to 15 minutes. Once the product application has dried, the label assures 100% disinfection of all bacteria and viruses on hard, non-porous surfaces and will also sanitize soft porous surfaces.

What Machine Do You Use?We use a USA made Cold Fogger machine that offers ultimate performance in small package. This unit is ideal for full coverage for office, restaurants/food services, schools, hospitals, seniors’ centers, pet boarding, greenhouses, commercial properties and other places.

What Do You Clean by Hand & Disinfect?Following the recommendations of the CDC we clean and disinfect high touched surfaces by hand. High touch surfaces include, but are not limited to: (e.g. tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, phones, tables., touch screens, remotes controls, keyboards, handles desk, toilets sink)

Where Do You Apply The Fog Disinfectant?After cleaning and disinfecting the High touched surfaces by hand, we apply the fogger disinfectant on all the surfaces, fogger allows a more complete and uniform coverage on surfaces, effectively sanitize tight spaces and hard to reach areas. No need to wipe or rinse because the disinfectant particles are so small (less than 5O microns), meaning we will not leave any residue left behind.

What Disinfectant Do You Use?General Maintenance Services uses an EPA-registered disinfectant labeled of the use against a variety of pathogens and included on EPA’s “List N” of products that meet their criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.

Is The Disinfectant Food Safe?For foodservice facilities, is rated “no rinse required on food contact surfaces” category D2 by the NSF International. This means it is approved for the use of commercial and residential kitchens to control bacteria, viruses.

How Do We Prepare For General Maintenance Services?For our company to provide the best possible service, we ask you to make a few simple preparations before we arrive. The following preparations are minimal, but they are critical to the success of the service. GMs will advise if actions are need it beyond what is listed below. Remove any materials that could be damaged by moisture, such as paperwork and artwork. Remove any trip hazards to allow clear access for our technicians. Remove any valuables from the areas to be treated. All food items MUST be removed from areas to be treated. Food containers and utensils should be stored away in cupboards or drawers. Clean visibly dirty surfaces before the service. All pets need to be removed from the disinfectant area. If fish tanks are on premises, please turn off the pump and cover with a sheet.

How Long Does This Service Take?Depending on the size of the job, the time it takes varies. On average a residential service takes approximate 25-35 minutes and commercial services 45–60 minutes.

Do I Have To Sing Up For Recurring Services?We will be glad to provide a one-time service. If, however, you prefer recurring service to maintain protection form viruses and bacteria, we can schedule a regular cleaning & disinfecting services.
